maxis cheer edits for TU-AU

for female sims, i have needlecream's 'cheerful epsilon' dress, with the bust of a catofevilgenius top to make it more sporty/less vacuum-boobed, and these shoes by pf/onyx. there is a second matching version for the girls with a turtleneck by rudhira layered underneath. i made colors for all the maxis neighborhood highschools (veronaville has 2: a prep academy for the capps and a regular high school for the montys) and for the three maxis unis. these are labelled in the swatch and the lettering on the chest matches the schools. i also did a default replacement of ufbodycheerleader using the colors of the original, with icons from freepik (blue has a llama, and red has a bull bc of the cow mascot lol). i used needlecream's psd to create the textures and everything you need to create your own colors/ change things around/ etc is included in the zip in the psds folder. font used (runcible spoon) is linked as well.

for male sims, i made matching recolors of the cheer outfit converted by mdp (teen version by deedee) using a psd by noodle (matching edit of the psd is included). i wanted to do a default of the YA llama mascot for the boys but i wasn't sure if it would work because they also use the aubody mesh at some points according to the default database and i don't know how to edit the clothing coding to make it so i don't have to replace both lol. male sims have matching recolors to the female defaults. 

everything is everyday/ gym. only teens get the hs colors, and only ya/a get the uni colors.

matching recolors of platasps 4t2 pompoms are also included. not pictured because i'm not loading up the game again lol. they are accessories for everyday/ gym. 

UPDATE 7.3.24: added 2 new colors for teens (bluewater village high school and sim city (maxis downtown) high school. download links have been updated but here are just the new recolors if you already downloaded.

i converted the longsleeve hsy cheer outfit from ts4 with the same shoes. i stopped liking it and don't want to do any conversions, so i'm giving it out as-is for AF only. all sims 4 swatches except the cheerfest included. do whatever you want with it lol. download: DROPBOX // SFS

ty! yes i always thought the maxis textures were disgusting haha.

needlecream has beautiful shading/ texturing skills so their psd both inspired this and made it possible

just realized i forgot to do teen recolors for sim city (what i call maxis downtown since i count it as it’s own hood) and bluewater village high schools smh. i’ll get those posted 7/3!
