i wanted to learn blender so i decided to take on something "easy" like separating a dress into a skirt. well lmao it took me waaaay longer than it should have with a ton of mistakes but at this point i'm pretty sure i got it working and i also kind of understand the basics of blender now, so mission accomplished i guess? this is inspired by a recolor of that one freetime skirt i had back in ts2 (literally have no idea what recolor i'm talking about but I remember having one i really liked so lol) and io's fashion style (i wish i had even half of her texturing and meshing ability). i miss ts2 lol. anyway if you see something wrong with the mesh please let me know; i feel like everything that went wrong in the blender/ s4s process was enough torture but honestly who knos. mdpthatsme converted the dress i made this from to ts2 and included plain recolors, and i used their texture as a base (pretty much unedited, just blurred it to take some of the crunch that inevitably comes from editing something that was already compressed to .dds more than once). the seams i added are meant to be very light because irl on most clothes they aren't meant to be noticeable but they needed to be there. ok. TF-EF, everyday. hot weather, cold weather, disabled for random. custom thumbnails, psd for recoloring, the works.
